"What is an image set?"

An image set is a picture or group of pictures that are used to show what your character looks like. They are typically found on either flickr or deviantART, but you can use them from basically anywhere with adequate permission. An image set is not required, but is highly recommended. Some lovely staff can help you find sets if you want one but are struggling.

"How do I get to be staff?"

Here at Icarus Awakening we do not hold staff auditions. You become a staff member through dedication both to posts and to building the site (contest participation, advertising, etc.) If you get chosen to become staff and cannot accept, we understand perfectly.

"Oh no! I pressed the wrong button and lost my post! How can I stop this?"

Losing posts can be very frustrating, but fortunately all hope is not lost. If you go to Profile > Edit Profile > Settings, there is an option called "Enable Drafts". Set it to "Yes", and when you are writing posts it will periodically save so that if something goes wrong you no longer have to start from scratch. It's not perfect, but it is better than nothing.
