Isolde strives to be the best at whatever she is doing. In her past, her training was taken very seriously so that she could be better than her siblings. There has always been a bit of competition, when it comes to her siblings. Even though physically she is average, she will always try to be stronger, faster, and overall better. This is not she can one up anyone who is not her sibling, but simply so she can better herself.

loyal

The first dog she was ever loyal to was Icarus, and she was loyal to him until his death. Even from his grave Isolde is loyal to him. She wishes to revive the peace that he had brought to the city. She will likely be loyal to anyone that holds the same goals. Once you have earned her loyalty she does not go back on it. If a friend changes in such a way that her loyalty has to be broken in order for her to stay true to her self, she will do anything in her power to make her friend see reason.

moral

Isolde has morals that she lives by, and they are pretty standard. She is honest as she possibly can be without hurting herself or others. She does not hurt others unless they are hurting someone who is innocent. She does not believe murder is the answer to any question, and will condemn those that kill. Isolde lives on the belief that everyone deserves a second chance, and that others can change despite what kind of past they had to live. Even in this world of chaos, she believes that there is good.

If you are extremely sarcastic, and kind of a jerk, you will hurt Isoldes feelings. She appears outer shell emotionally, but that is not the case. She might not show that you hurt her, but when she is all alone she will think about what you said. Isolde does not think highly of herself, and it is easy for others to bring her down due to that.

She is not the type to rollover and let something bad happen to her or anyone else. Words can be overlooked or can bounce off of that fake outer shell she puts up. Physical actions will get her blood boiling. She will not stand by while a weak canine gets bullied by a strong one. She will come to the aid of the weak and fight off the strong, despite whatever injuries she might obtain.

Isolde does not need the assistance of anyone else to survive. She can hunt on her own, and has managed to stay alive this long without dying due to the ash sickness. She has just a slight knowledge of foliage and herbs, but only slight due to that fact that very few types currently grow due to the super volcanoes eruption five years ago. Since Icarus' death Isolde refuses to follow anyone else. If she were to follow anyone it would be herself.

She puts others before herself, because she would want help if she were in their place. Isolde will not hesitate to give up a meal to someone who is looking a little bit too thin. She will not let someone stay out in cold, she will offer to share shelter with them. This does not mean that she is the most trusting creature in the world, and she is not gullible. However, if you take advantage of Isolde she will not help you when you truly need her help.

Through experience, Isolde has gained the knowledge to deal with certain situations better than others might. She also learned a lot from her dealings with Icarus, and by living on her own in Wolf Creek. She will not hesitate to share her knowledge, because she believes that knowledge is power. She hopes that by sharing her knowledge she might convince the others that peace is what Wolf Creek needs. Everything that Isolde does, she does because she wants bridge the divide in their town.

Out of her siblings Isolde is the most average in size. Ishmoz was born larger than average and Isleta was born smaller. Most things about Isolde remain average to this day. Her strength, dexterity, and speed are all average, however her stamina is slightly above average. Her sight and hearing are all exceptional, although her sight might waver with age. In appearance Isolde is very pretty, taking on silver and white coloring with classic husky or malamute type markings. The silver in her coat is very light, making her overall a very light coated canine. Her light colored coat is very difficult to keep clean, especially since the state of her pelt is not of high priority to Isolde. The most striking thing about her appearance would be her eyes. She had two very light blue colored eyes, that look white under certain rays of sunshine.

She is one of the few survivors that can say she was alive that day with the super volcano erupted causing mass chaos. Isolde had been nothing but a pup, around 3-6 months old. Her life had begun in Europe, where she and her siblings were being trained as search and rescue dogs for an independent contractor. This independent contractor did not care much about the state of his dogs, nor the lineage which they held. He called all of them mutts regardless of what they actually were. Isolde, Ishmoz, and Isleta were mutts though, despite looking like purebreds. They even had a little bit of Wolf thrown into their line, but the percentage was so small now one would ever know.

After months of neglect and harsh working conditions, Isolde and Ishmoz got their break. A team of highly trained search and rescue professionals needed the assistance of some search and rescue dogs. They were sent over by ship to America, where they were each paired with a different human. Isolde was paired to a man who could only be described as a caveman in appearance. He was a generous man though, and was perhaps the only human that she had come across that was nice. Isolde had seen nothing like Americas wasteland though, and thinking back and those times sends chills down her spine. After several weeks of searching their party began to grow ill, while Isolde remained healthy. The ash soon killed the rescue party that she was apart of leaving her completely alone in the world. This is where she met Icarus.

Icarus was a wolfdog, and he taught Isolde everything she knows about living without humans. He brought her to Wolf Creek, and she followed him without question. Life seemed as though it was peeking, as they gathered more followers. Some soon died despite their care, but most lived. Everything was right with the world, until Icarus began to fall ill. After his death their loving community fell. Isolde was still loyal to Icarus' wish, and she tried to keep them together. No one would be loyal to Isolde in the way that they were to Icarus, and she knew that. She still believes that there is a way to bring peace to Wolf Creek, and she will not stop until she figures it out.
