Icarus, the wolfdog who started it all, has just perished, leaving the southeast Wisconsin town of Wolf Creek broken into factions. Meanwhile, the ecosystem remains fragile five years after a Yellowstone supervolcano explosion as ash taints the life and water and the climate remains chilled.

This summer is a wet one as the earth tries to work off its taint. Expect frequent strong thunderstorms. Temperatures have begun to rise, wavering around 65 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Because advertising is the single greatest way to bring new members in, we are going to have an advertising contest for the span of one month with some fabulous prizes in store for anybody who so much as participates. Let's bring in those new members!
