North

Wild Canyon
The community perfectly represented the outsider's conception of suburbs: all the houses looked the same but for slightly different shades of pastel, and even after the cataclysm they remain eerily perky.

Country Club
The wealthy members of Wild Canyon would often spend their days at this leisure environment, filled with golf courses, horseback riding, and nearly every stereotype of a suburban community.

Garfield High School
It would be wrong to say that the city's public high school fed directly into the university, for the massive school's students would often aim even higher after graduation. Even without people, the eyes are flooded by Persephone the Puma and purple and white colors.

Wolf Creek University
The university was the center of Wolf Creek, one of the best in the state. The school was known for its medical aspect, and so the Medical and Veterinary Schools continue to be filled with wicked-looking instruments.

West

Shopping District
Few brand names were on sale in Wolf Creek, preferring independent small businesses offering everything from gourmet cupcakes to hand-sewn finger puppets. Everything seems to have at least a little bit of quirk to it.

Museums
A trio of museums make up the triangle of intellectualism: natural history, filled with fossils and taxidermy; art, with paintings and sculptures; and American history, with artifacts from wars and peace.

Library
If you could think of it, the Wolf Creek Library had it. They were established in 1881 and had been consistently collecting books ever since due to the dedication of many librarians, and were so well taken care of that the ash did not destroy too much.

Theaters
The theater district of Wolf Creek was devoted to its promise. Two cinemas provided both commercial and independent fare, while stage theaters were devoted to children's, dramatic, and musical.

East

Farmlands
Although known for its fishing, Wolf Creek maintained some semblance of an agricultural community by having a few acres set aside for farms and livestock. It remains one of the most tainted areas, covered in death.

St. Brendan's Hospital
Most of the Wolf Creek Medical School graduates end up here, which made it one of the best hospitals in Wisconsin. Even with the cloud of ash it maintained some sense of sterility, but many on life support remained to die as doctors panicked.
Dead Reckoning by Deleted
St. Patrick's Cathedral
Founded by Irish immigrants, Wolf Creek had a massive Catholic following that culminated in the building of this Gothic cathedral, decorated in macabre stained glass and stone sculptures, enough to send a chill through someone who once forgot a Hail Mary.

Airport
The Wolf Creek airport was rather small, most citizens preferring to catch a flight from Milwaukee, and was mostly associated with the arrivals and departure of private planes. As a result it was quite small, with only a few shops.

South

Highwood National Park
Known for its cascading waterfalls and wide variety of wildlife and trees, Highwood made for a beautiful national park. Now, with the taint clearing out, it is starting to regain some of that beauty in a more rugged way.

Dark Crow Mountains
The mountain range is almost pitiful in size, but it remains a popular location with the city's more athletic fare for its steep inclines and jagged edges. Besides, few wild things lurk between the edges.

Campgrounds
Popular during the early days of the 4H and Girl/Boy Scouts craze, the campgrounds were shut down in 1984 due to an accidental shooting during hunting season, and since then they have become overgrown and wild.

Wolf Creek Zoo
The zoo was never quite impressive but for a few animals, namely a strong wild canines section: wolves, foxes, African Wild Dogs: if you could name it, they had it. Everything else was left pitiful by comparison, and so vet school students often specialized in canines.
